G&J Pepsi is searching for our next Chief Financial Officer to partner with the CEO, Owners, Board of Directors and Executive Leadership Team (ELT) to deliver our Annual Operating Plans (AOP) and execute our long term strategic imperatives. Financial Strategy and Leadership for the Company:

    • Provide robust financial, planning, and analytical support for the organization

    • Bring to the organization a high sense of urgency and accountability, and drive change for efficiencies and continuous improvement.

    • Utilizing the finance and accounting team, prepare and analyze all internal and external financial data and reporting related to company operations, including budgets, forecasts, financial statements, and monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting as well as long- and short-range financial planning, including capital budgeting, expense management, financial planning and analysis, cash management, and internal controls

    • Enhance and utilize forward-looking, predictive models, and activity-based financial analyses to provide insight into operations and business plans

    • Monitor Enterprise performance and collaborate with other leaders to effectively communicate areas requiring attention and actions to be taken

    • Manage relationships with internal and external constituencies including family members / owners, bankers, and tax/audit partners. Provide accurate, timely information relative to the companys performance and financial condition as required.

    • Manage company-wide business risk including all corporate insurance, workers compensation and medical benefit management.

    • Assist the CEO and Board in identifying M&A opportunities and supporting the due diligence process

    • Maintain close relationships with peer network, PepsiCo, Global Procurement, PCBA and PBNA and serve on various committees as required

    • Lead newly created Internal Audit and Revenue Management functions

    • Provide leadership and financial guidance to ancillary businesses (Blow Molding and Internal printing operations)

    • Actively participate as a member of the G&J Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and Board of Directors

    • Coordinates the planning and budgeting process, including establishing targets, assumptions, pricing and guidelines for the functional areas of the business.

    • Responsible for risk management and property and casualty insurance programs including shopping for coverages, accepting bids and determining where to be self-insured to manage risk.

    • Serves as a fiduciary member of retirement plans (pension and 401(K)) investment committees); coordinates the pension actuarial validation process.

    • Coordinate the completion of the annual valuation process

    • Performs corporate secretarial duties for the Board of Directors meetings as well as annual Shareholder meetings (the CFO is a non-voting Board member).

    • Provides period updates for Executive Committee and advises G&J Ownership regarding taxes and accounting updates as required.

    • Directs and coordinates Shareholder distributions, stock valuations, coordinates tax payments between Shareholders and tax consultants

    • Assess the organizational performance against the annual budget and AOP.

    • Be a role model and ambassador of financial stewardship, asset management, and policy adherence.

Organizational alignment and Effectiveness:

    • Create energy and excitement across the finance and accounting function around the functions goals. Focus the organization around key priorities.

    • Act as a mentor and role model for G&Js finance and accounting employees

    • Develop and execute the Talent Management process including attracting top talent into the organization, developing people, and engaging in succession planning in order to maximize organizational performance.
