The primary purpose of this position is to serve as an acquisition operations specialist responsible for developing, establishing, implementing, and controlling technical aspects of a program through designated phases of the acquisition cycle for which no close precedent exists for future acquisition type systems.

 



Responsibilities





Candidate will coordinate with Government employees and other organizational Contractor personnel to (a) prepare draft briefings for senior leaders to include SecDef, DepSecDef, SecAF, CSAF, SAE and congress, (b) provide support at briefings, (c) coordinate visits to senior leaders, (d) ensure security procedures are followed, ( e) plan, schedule and arrange conferences, (f) communicate with senior leaders to accomplish assigned tasks, (g) conduct long-range planning on assigned efforts, (h) develop draft recommendations for internal control procedures, (i) and support, as required, senior leadership day-to-day operations such as administrative management. The candidate must also be able to interact with not only the AFLCMC program office but those in other services within the Department of Defense (DoD).

The candidate shall also provide graphics, illustrations, management reporting, management overview and video/tele-conferencing support. The candidate shall develop and prepare presentations, briefing material and other documentation as required supporting decision and information briefings, program reviews and demonstrations, and program marketing/branding. The support shall require that the candidate exhibit the ability to quickly develop a detailed understanding of all senior leaders programs and the ability to understand the impact of program changes. The candidate shall possess skills in video editing and possess the capability to produce video presentations for multiple sources.



Qualifications





*US Citizenship Required
*Knowledge of the missions, roles, functions, organizational structures, and operation of the Department of Defense, Air Force, and other entities that govern, interface with, and/or influence the systems acquisition process.
* Ability to communicate both orally and in writing, clearly, concisely, and with technical accuracy.

* Top Secret security clearance required.

Ability to establish and maintain good relationships with individuals and groups within the office as well as outside the immediate work unit.
Ability to plan, organize, lead, and manage critical aspects of research, development, production, and support of subsystems or equipment, and integrate, analyze, and manage a variety of acquisition functions and personnel in support of the process.
