Credence Management Solutions, LLC (Credence) is seeking a Video Collaboration Engineer to support the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Video Operations Center (VOC) designing, implementing and supporting the VTC, streaming video, IPTV, and Collaboration space.
Conduct testing and configuration of existing VTC hardware, including application of security controls, generation and application of security certificates, and specialized configuration testing for individual platforms
You will perform patch and firmware upgrades of VTC devices, break/fix support and daily operations and management support
Technical certification in Cisco Voice and Video Engineering
Direct experience with Cisco Telepresence Management System, Video Control Servers, Expressway C/E, Cisco Meeting Server, and Cisco CODECs
Experience with the ITIL library in support of incident and change management
Experience with a maintenance ticketing system to manage incidents and problems
Previous experience supporting a Government and/or Department of Defense customer
Preferred experience in Voice Gateway and protocol experience including SIP, H.323, CUBE, ISDN, Codec, Analog Technologies, Media Gateways, and SBC’s (Session Border Controller)
Ability to support Audio, Video and Web Conferencing including Cisco Meeting App and Cisco WebApp
Preferred experience in Microsoft 365 Administration including user support, SharePoint, One Drive Office, OneNote, Planner, Stream etc.
Cisco Voice administration in Communications Manager, Communications Manager Express and Cisco Unity Connection including bulk administration and RTMT
Strong knowledge in dial plan design and implementation including E-911 • UC client support including Teams, Skype for Business, Jabber, WebEx and Finesse
Demonstrated understanding of networking concepts, and experience troubleshooting network issues including QoS concerns
Basic understanding of DNS, firewall, and load balanced environments
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft server and workstation operating systems, registry settings, logging, and virtualization
Ability to interact with end users to provide technical support and gather feedback
Must possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Must possess strong organization skills, including a keen attention to detail
Design, implement, and manage day-to-day operations of a UC infrastructure in a global enterprise environment
Plan and document multi-step complex changes and develop disaster recovery procedures
Ability to communicate effectively in all business relationships and various levels of management in a clear and direct manner
Be able to contact and work with vendor support for hardware and/or software problem resolution
Serve as an escalation point for our Internal VOC staff
Be available for rotating 24/7 on-call support
Sensitivity Level: IT-II– Critical Sensitive
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience and/or military experience
Security + CE
3+ years working in the Unified Communications industry
Excellent communications and documentation skills
Must be experienced using Word, Excel and Visio at a minimum
Must be clearable to work in the US Government or hold clearance (when applicable)
At least (1) of the following certifications:
Cisco Video Network Specialist
Cisco CCNA Collaboration
Cisco Certified Specialist
