The Challenge:

A well-designed network is critical to move data and enable the Air Force (AF) to achieve their mission, but how can an organization make sure their network will fit their current and evolving needs? Crafting the right network, with the right equipment and software, requires a combination of technical skill and careful planning. That's why we need you, a network engineer who knows how to craft the exact network the AF and DoD needs.

As a network engineer on our team, you'll work with the AF to evolve a reliable network to support R&D data system networks. You will be very hands-on technical with primary responsibilities for the compute, storage, and LAN of the Data Center. Other responsibilities include mitigating equipment failures in order to provide constant compute and data systems availability, integration of new infrastructure equipment in order to retire legacy systems that have no maintenance agreement, and migration of customer data from legacy systems to new storage. You Have:

9+ years of experience with Linux and Windows systems engineering
9+ years of experience with administering and securing Windows, Linux, VMWare, and HPC
Experience with maintaining, administering, and troubleshooting in an enterprise environment
Ability to obtain a security clearance
MA or MS degree
DoD 8570 (IAT Level II) Certification, including CompTIA Security+ CE

Nice If You Have:

Experience with Database administration
Experience with providing customer service in high pace, high visibility office
Knowledge of cloud engineering
Secret or Top Secret clearance
DoD 8570 (IAT Level III) Certification
