Job Description

The Intelligence Planner will Draft, review, and edit various reports, publications, regulations, and strategic communications for the AGO, Army, and Intelligence community; ensure formats and language conform to Army policies and regulations as well as established AGO SOPs and templates. Assist with the development and modification of AGO standard operating procedures (SOP) and templates. Leverage the INSCOM CG's guidance and DA G-2 priorities as a GEOINT subject matter expert through participation in various counsels, working groups, meetings, and briefings relative to the GEOINT community; convey and articulate information as it pertains to the Army GEOINT mission. Maintain/update AGO employees training records in accordance with INSCOM and NGA regulations and policies; send required training notifications to AGO employees prior to training deficiencies; provide training status to AGO senior leadership. Coordinate schedules and accommodations; escort visitors; ensure clearances are sent and received; prepare required materials. Coordinate and maintain the AGO calendar. Ensure that all meetings, travel, visits, and all other AGO events are documented on the office's shared calendar. Coordinate, schedule, and provide technical support for office VTC meetings. Act as the VTC expert for the office and works with NGA technical support to ensure connection with other site IDs. Operational expert for VTC with knowledge to switch between various VTC modes to display computer documents as well as video during meetings. Consolidate and compile input for various data calls from across the Intelligence Community; ensure language and formats conform to Army policies and regulations as well as established SOPs and templates. Develop, assess, review, analyze, and make recommendations concerning GEOINT capabilities, system requirements, development, personnel, communications, logistics, etc.; ensure Army GEOINT community is kept abreast of emerging technological developments that enhance the Army's ability to leverage GEOINT. Coordinate in/out processing actions for all AGO government and contract employees. Ensure badging efforts are coordinated with the SSO and workforce support. Coordinate establishment of network accounts.

BA/BS degree in a related field with at least 6 years of Intelligence Operations experience and 3 years Staff Officer or equivalent experience or Undergraduate degree with at least 9 years of Intelligence Operations experience and 6 years Staff Officer or equivalent experience or HS diploma/GED and Specialized Training with at least 12 years of Intelligence Operations experience and 7 years Staff Officer or equivalent experience

Excellent written & oral communication, research, and analytic skills

Expert ability to manage personnel, requirements, and coordination of projects

Expert capabilities to research, create, develop, and deliver professional briefings, multimedia presentations, and written reports

Experience supporting decision making and special projects on integration issues, including the preparation, production, and coordination of written products and briefings for senior stakeholders

Specialized experience in Intelligence Operations

Experience with tradecraft and publication and ability to coordinate and support cross-community meetings and working groups, assimilate large volumes of information, and independently produce written reports

Proficient in the development of IC reports, publications, regulations, and strategic communications

Subject matter expert in various GEOINT disciplines

TS/SCI Clearance w/ CI Polygraph


Working knowledge of Army policies and regulations as well as established SOPs

Specialized training from any intelligence collection and analysis school or certification to include GEOINT Professional Certification (GPC-F, GPC_IA-II, GPC_GA-II, GPC_IS-II, etc.)

Knowledge and understanding of the National System for GEOINT (NSG)
