About the role
Based at our Seven Hills site, the Maintenance Planner will be responsible for planning all site maintenance activities including shutdowns, corrective and preventative maintenance - including:
Planning labour in conjunction with maintenance manager, supervisor and leading hands
Providing site maintenance and production teams with plans for maintenance activities
Planning required resources for maintenance activities including equipment, parts and materials
Ensuring all maintenance is being performed safely and as per instruction
Ensuring all documentation including work orders and permits
Operating, updating and maintaining site CMMS systems (MEX)
Reporting on metrics including completion rates and labour utilization
Supporting continuous improvement activities
Act as the hub between planning, production, maintenance co-ordinators and EHS
You could already have a couple of years in maintenance planning; or
You could be starting your career in maintenance planning and have a mechanical engineer qualification with a 1-2 years behind your belt
Strong knowledge of Health and Safety
You'll be organised and pro-active in your approach to work, your character is one that sees solutions not problems
You will deliver on what you say you'll do, while always maintaining a high level of integrity
You'll have heaps of initiative and be a great team player that is always there for your team
