MULTIPLE WORKSITES: Cuyahoga, Lake and Geauga counties. 

JOB DESCRIPTION:  Full-time, temporary from 11/20/2020-3/31/2020. 15 positions for Snow Removal Laborers. Use snow-blowers and shovels to remove snow and ice from private driveways, pathways and parking lots. No work done on highways or municipal roads. Salting private driveways and pathways manually, not using snow-plow trucks. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. No education or experience required, employer provides on the job training. 7am-3pm, Monday-Friday, overtime as needed. $16.35/hr, overtime at $24.53/hr. Paid weekly. Possible raises, bonuses or incentives dependent on tenure with company, experience or job performance. A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. All deductions from the worker’s paycheck required by law will be made.

EMPLOYER ASSURANCES

$51.25 Housing deduction per pay per worker for workers who choose to live in employers provided housing.Workers are responsible for daily transportation to and from the designated pick-up location. Employer will then provide each work crew with daily transportation among the worksite locations. Workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visas, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (except passport fees).  If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, the employer will reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker’s voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily meals will be provided at a rate of at least $12.68 per day during travel to a maximum of $55.00 per day with receipts. Employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job.The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period.
