IT Cybersecurity Engineer

Credence Management Solutions, LLC (Credence) is seeking an IT Cybersecurity Engineer to support the NGB program at WPAFB in Dayton Ohio.
Conduct System Security, Cybersecurity, and Anti-Tamper, analysis, testing, verification, and documentation.
Participate in Government/prime/subcontractor Cybersecurity/System Security reviews/meetings/working groups as applicable for all system security issues.
Analyze prime/subcontractor data to develop and provide system security documentation, for Government approval, including such areas as classification of information/data and equipment, specific security procedures, handling and transfer of classified materials, and security boundary parameters.
Verify cybersecurity controls and testing comply with system procurement as they relate to Risk Management Framework (RMF) (DoDI 8510.01)
Conduct engineering and technical analysis in preparing cybersecurity vulnerability and risk assessments in conjunction with the assigned Platform Information Technology (PIT) Security Control Assessor (SCA) and Authorizing Official (AO). The cybersecurity vulnerability and risk assessments shall provide information necessary to recommend approval by the Authorizing Official for an Authorization To Operate (ATO) for the IWS
Identify component and subsystem vulnerabilities and recommend potential solutions and safeguards including system design interoperability. Present results in cybersecurity documentation that shall be used for System Acquisition Planning and Management major milestones including Cybersecurity Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M) leading to the Cybersecurity Roadmaps
Develop recommendations for inputs and updates to System Security documentation, and Military Type Certificate documentation from a system security supportability aspect. This includes analysis of ATO packages and System Security Plans (SSPs). These analyses shall provide recommendations, risk areas, and gap analysis necessary to increase the supportability, quality, and availability for the system security of the IWS
Develop and continually update applicable program documentation based on the Department of Defense Instruction (DoDI) 8510.01, and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) 800-53
Participate in the development of recommendations on Cyber Resiliency strategies, processes, and documentation
Conduct LAA IWS cybersecurity data gathering and site surveys of operational and maintenance activities and records in support of LAA IWS system security plan and ATO conditions.
TS/SCI clearance required
Must have Bachelor of Science in Computer or SW Engineering Degree (ABET accredited)
5-15 years of experience required, w/Platform IT (PIT) Cybersecurity and Aircraft Avionics experience.
Must possess the knowledge associated with the DoD’s Risk Management Framework (RMF) approach for identifying cybersecurity requirements, providing security solutions, and managing the security of DoD information systems.
Experience as a Security Control Assessor (SCA) or SCA Representative (SCAR) desired.
Must meet individual Cybersecurity certification requirements in compliance with DoD Directive 8570.01 and DoD 8570.01-M.
Also must meet the security clearance requirements of DODI 8500.01, Cybersecurity.
Must have experience with:
Cybersecurity Vulnerability Assessment procedures, tools and techniques which identify system cybersecurity vulnerabilities;
Cybersecurity Risk Assessment procedures, tools and techniques which identify system cybersecurity operational risks;
Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) guidance and policy regarding program sensitive cyber items;
Identifying security management requirements during specific phases of the program acquisition life cycle;
Software assurance plans and implementation concerning development processes, operational systems and development environment.
