Description
This position is responsible for:


Supervising the day to day sales and production operations for the distributed channel

Excelling in and promoting a team environment

Implementing strategies, policies, and guidelines

Holding team accountable for results

Ensuring compliance with secondary market investor, insurer, and Federal/State guidelines

Following the provisions of the Gramm-Bliley Act and Northwest’s privacy policy

Maintaining a high level of confidentiality

Making timely and accurate decisions while thriving in a fast paced environment

Performing related duties as directed by manager

Completing and conducting annual performance reviews of all staff

Participating in the interview and hiring process for new team members

Coordinating on-going training and development of staff

Working as part of a team


Working with onsite equipment

PREFERRED EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: 4 year degree in business, finance, or related experience; Master’s degree preferred. 5-7 years of experience originating or underwriting mortgage loans and leading loan sales or production teams. Knowledge of investor and insurer underwriting guidelines, all applicable regulatory guidelines, secondary market and Northwest loan products and guidelines. Knowledge of government loan products and programs preferred.

REQUIRED:  Per the SAFE Act, registration with NMLSR and annual renewal as a condition of employment.
