Cybersecurity Engineer, Mid
Key Role:

Leverage domain knowledge to create cybersecurity solutions aligned to the client's mission. Apply specific functional knowledge to address client needs. Develop and contribute to solutions for a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Work independently with some guidance and review or guide activities of more junior employees.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with installation and maintenance of network infrastructure or cybersecurity appliances, application and review of cybersecurity controls to enterprise, cloud, mission or OT systems, or technical analysis and review of system cybersecurity components

-Knowledge of current cyber threats, cybersecurity infrastructure components and tools, and cybersecurity mitigation strategies

-Ability to conduct cybersecurity tests to validate the application of cybersecurity requirements to software and hardware across enterprise, cloud, mission, or OT systems

-Ability to support the development of cybersecurity architecture, configuration, engineering, and technical standards

-Ability to support the evaluation of cybersecurity components for inclusion in existing or planned environments

-Ability to support the development of mitigations to reduce cybersecurity risks

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-HS diploma or GED

-A+, Network+, or CEH Certification

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with cybersecurity testing to support FISMA processes

-Knowledge of NASA cybersecurity policies and procedures

-Ability to provide technical support to teams developing cybersecurity policies and developing assessment and authorization plans

-Secret clearance

-AA or AS degree
