IT@UC seeks to fill one Computer Systems Administrator position. This position's primary responsibility will be managing and supporting the University's Office 365 environment, including but not limited to Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint Online. The position will also support auxiliary systems associated to Collaboration Services such as SharePoint 2013, Exchange 2016, Barracuda Email Security Gateway and LSoft Listserv. This is an exciting position that provides exposure to many Microsoft cloud technologies and is involved with all areas of communication and collaboration at the University.
Office 365 tenant management - account provisioning and licensing, performance and availability monitoring, system integration, security, automation, and end user support
Design, architecture, and documentation for on-premise collaboration servers and Office 365 services
Escalated end user support via email, phone, web conference, or IT@UC's service management system (ServiceNow)
The position is required to participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation with two other administrators
Bachelor's degree in computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a relevant 4-year degree -OR- an Associate's degree with two (2) years' experience; -OR- three (3) years' experience in the field
At least two (2) years' experience with Microsoft enterprise technologies
At least 1 year of experience managing and supporting an Office 365 deployment, particularly Exchange and SharePoint
Some experience with PowerShell scripting, Active Directory user/group management, Active Directory Federation Services, Microsoft Teams, and OneDrive
Security experience with Microsoft enterprise technologies, including certificates, best practices, and control implementation
Experience with advanced end user support and troubleshooting with good people skills, and familiarity with ticketing systems and escalation procedures
Familiarity with the ITIL Framework and ITSM concepts and practices
