About the Job

Description

This position will drive performance measurement, analysis and reporting of our consumer and physician websites, apps and digital marketing campaigns. This includes the identification, implementation, execution and optimization of opportunities to support our digital marketing activities. The Digital Analytics Strategist will execute the measurement, optimization, and reporting of digital marketing programs.

Duties and responsibilities:
*Collaborate with marketing teams and other stakeholders to help drive marketing success and growth of the digital channel through the measurement of our marketing campaigns
*Recommend measurements and strategies using data to drive valuable business decisions resulting in growth of our service lines
*Create analytical insight for uhhospitals.org to drive revenue growth and provide actionable insights
*Create consumer insights to help create and optimize our marketing campaigns
*Carry out regular ad-hoc analysis of service line, regional hospital campaign performance to identify issues and opportunities
*Lead best practice implementation of marketing & website data management ensuring all tracking & reporting is accurate and relevant
*Work in collaboration across the marketing department to understand campaign and promotion performance, and how different activities affect business KPI's
*Work with the CRM team for customer database performance insight to understand behavior of new and existing customers, and identify opportunities to engage them on our websites
*Query large datasets and aggregate disparate data across systems to bring insights and trends to influence our marketing campaigns, creative and investment decision
*Assist in the creation, maintenance and measurement of our A/B testing and continuous optimization programs
*Work on special projects in coordination with marketing teams as needed
*This role may encounter Protected Health Information (PHI) as part of regular responsibilities.  UH employees must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain PHI for our patients.  Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.

Qualifications

Education:
Bachelor's degree, preferably in communications, public relations, marketing or related field, required.

Experience & Knowledge:
*3-5 years of experience focusing on digital analytics, consumer insights, statistical analysis.
*Knowledge and experience with SEO, paid search (SEM), digital media, website data, tag management, etc.
*Proven experience with A/B testing and conversion improvement initiatives
*Working knowledge of common digital analytics tools (Google analytics, Adobe Analytics, Adwords, Botify, Site Improve, and similar tools)- and the ability to interpret the output of those tools in a way that conveys business meaning to internal stakeholders
*Most have strong working knowledge of SQL and ability to write queries
*Fundamental understanding of HTML, experience with CSS, JavaScript a plus
*Comfortable working on multiple projects and meeting tight timelines
*Proven ability to translate data to actionable insights and communicate findings with senior leadership
