Pharmacy Call Center Manager

Overview of Position

The Pharmacy Call Center Manager is responsible for all administrative oversight of the day to day call center operations including: management of all Call Center operations; all required Call Center reporting and all required Call Center Quality Assurance (QA) functions. The Call Center Manager oversees call center and help desk staff and develops call center and help desk operational policies and procedures.

What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?

Responsible for taking calls and responding to calls from physicians, physician representatives, pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and members
Responsible for maintaining accounts, processing data files for various vendors, generating reports, and provider-relations management
Responsible for supervising help desk technicians and the entire customer service process for the KY Department of Medicaid Services (DMS) single pharmacy benefit (SPBM) account
Responsible for maintaining adequate staff coverage
The documentation for training, business rules, and account parameters must be kept up to date and staff adequately trained on it at all times

What are the requirements needed for this position?

Must be a Certified Pharmacy Technician
3+ years of experience with Medicaid or private sector health care payer in a call center environment
2+ years of experience in a supervisory position
2+ years of experience in a pharmacy environment
Extensive knowledge of Medicaid claims processing and pharmacy practices

What other skills/experience would be helpful to have?

BS degree in related field preferred
