As a 2021 Summer Intern with FIS, you will have the opportunity to participate in team projects, community service activities, social events, professional development seminars and work alongside team mentors. This is a full time (40hrs/week) paid internship that will begin on March 29th of 2021.

About The Team

This ART (Agile Release Train) is a shared service Train within the delivery organization within FIS Merchant and Banking Services that supports a set of products/applications. We work directly with other ARTs  for integration. We support cross-functional delivery with a core focus on delivering production support as we build quality in from the start including partnering in development with outside third parties. We care deeply about things like relentless improvement, automation and agile ways of working

What You Will Be Doing

As a Scrum Master you will be working with teams responsible for building, releasing and operating products.
As a Scrum Master, you have a specialization towards driving Scrum Teams on the Train forward in all aspects associated with building, supporting inception right through to release. The Scrum Master acts as a servant leader who enables our Agile teams to self-organize, self-manage, and deliver via effective Lean-Agile practices.
You will be removing impediments and foster an environment for high-performing team dynamics, continuous flow, and relentless improvement.
You will facilitate Scrum Ceremonies: Project Increment Planning, Sprint Planning, Refinement, Reviews, Retros, and Backlog Grooming and other responsibilities when needed.
The Scrum Master will provide support to the Release Train Engineer (RTE) in ensuring the Scrum Team meets its objectives and driving continuous improvement across the Train.
