Principal is seeking an experienced Senior Diversity Talent Sourcer to join our Talent Acquisition team. As a key member of our team, you will focus on building diverse passive talent pipelines while working in partnership with talent acquisition partners, HR leaders and executives across the organization. This person will understand the challenges and obstacles to hiring underrepresented groups and possess the ability and expertise to overcome those challenges.
Building pipelines and serving as a diversity & inclusion ambassador while creating and nurturing relationships with top talent in diverse talent communities through multi-touch outreach, partnerships and events.
Using data and research to define target candidate communities, perform searches, connect with prospects, promote opportunities to talent pools for assigned business areas and develop sourcing strategies.
Partnering with employee resource groups to broaden candidate reach, generate leads, and establish a culture of talent attraction
Featuring and champion top sourced diverse talent with executive leaders and talent acquisition partners on an ongoing basis evolving passive talent strategies and relationships
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience plus 8 years of related experience with at least 4 years of talent sourcing experience (recruiting, search firm, etc.) with a specific focus on senior level positions as well as building and executing sourcing strategies focused on underrepresented talent required.
Experience leveraging sourcing tools and techniques such as: LinkedIn recruiter, Candidate Relationship Management (CRM) systems, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), social recruiting, external recruiting resources (websites, databases, newsletters, other online resources, events) and Boolean searching
Compelling communication, networking, influence, and relationship building skills that instill confidence in senior leaders and candidates alike
Strong relationship building and networking skills
Tenacity, passion and commitment to diversity and inclusion
Proven ability to identify, engage and nurture diverse passive talent pipelines for current and future searches
Ability to manage multiple searches simultaneously
Financial services industry experience preferred
Experience working in an executive search firm or in a corporate executive search function preferred.
Some travel will be required (10%)
Our Corporate Headquarters is located in Des Moines, IA, with offices throughout the globe. We are open to various locations across the country.
