Microfinish is adding a first shift, full time Quality Technician/Inspector to their team.
Maintain calibration of quality control equipment
Perform inspections across all stages of production
Identify areas for quality control improvement and implement new methods accordingly
Communicate quality or compliance concerns with urgency
Assist with audits
Establish and maintain root cause and corrective actions
Assist with maintaining Quality Management System
Assure annual trainings are up to date.
Other duties as assigned
High School diploma or GED
Solid understanding of test equipment
Minimum 2-5 years of inspection and/or production experience
Strong working knowledge of various mathematical concepts including fractions, ratios, and proportions
Ability to lift and or move 50 pounds occasionally
Specific vision abilities required to include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Excellent organizational skills
Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret information
Preferred experience with AS9100 and/or ISO13485
