Title: IT Ops Technical Systems Analyst

Overview of position:

The technical systems analyst willprovide an area of ownership for Change Management oversight, change request and defect triage level 2 support, system and process monitoring, balance and controls monitoring as well as batch processing oversight.

What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?

Analyzes complex business problems to be solved with automated systems
Identifies gaps and provides technical expertise in standing up or refining: balance and controls monitoring, batch processing, and system processing monitoring
Designs details of automated monitoring systems/processes ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of EDI process flows
Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
Networks with key contacts outside own area of expertise in an effort to establish as well provide process improvement for all monitoring points
Works to maintain the IT Operations change management policy and procedures
Provides enhancement and defect triage level 2 support including technical support, troubleshooting and correcting data points, as needed

What are the requirements needed for this position?

4 years' experience in a Systems Analyst or equivalent role
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science preferred, or equivalent experience
Experience with the HealthEdge Health Rules Payor application, Cognizant Facets or similar product
Ability to understand EDI and custom files and interpret operational needs from files
Experience with AGILE as it relates to SDLC change management
Experience with data reconciliation
Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps or TFS

What other skills/experience would be helpful to have?

Experience with applications like Tidal, Tibco, Edifecs or other EDI products a plus
Strong understanding of, and experience with, technical systems; ability to identify technical solutions for business problems
Understand the Software Development Life cycle (both waterfall and agile)
Excellent oral and written skills in order to effectively communicate with customers and internal partners
Strong organizational and project management skills. This position will be working on multiple projects and with multiple customers concurrently
Ability to develop and deliver presentation materials and formulate and define systems scope and objectives through research and due diligence
Experience analyzing data to analyze trends in data, including looking for missing data and following data patterns to see where improvements may be made to algorithms and processes
