If this sounds like you, we have an amazing opportunity for you.  At 1WorldSync, we are looking for a Collection Specialist to join our team.  The Collection Specialist will be part of a team that is responsible for accounts receivables.

The primary responsibility of this role is to collect on open invoices following a set process of outbound call and email campaigns. This person will serve as the initial contact for all invoice related questions and will work closely with the assigned sales representatives on accounts. Escalating advanced questions and keeping them informed of any outstanding invoices. Proactive interactions will involve obtaining updated company contacts, reaching out to obtain valid purchase order numbers for prompt payment and answering general account questions.

As Collection Specialist, the successful candidate will:

Make daily collection calls
Conduct account research and analysis
Prepare and maintain various reports
Maintain an accurate aging report
Identify and execute the necessary process adjustments
Send statement to outstanding customers
Interact with customers to resolve outstanding issues
Assist customers with making payment, either online or over the phone
Interacting with external business customers via outbound/inbound phone calls and email
Analyzing customer accounts and providing information on the status of their account and services. Providing documentation to the customer regarding any upcoming or outstanding invoices.
Acting as a accounts receivable expert. Working with the Sales and Finance team to resolve any open invoices and ensuring that internal policies are followed.
Documenting and escalating issues to the sales rep, as appropriate
Documenting status through CRM and various ticketing systems
Updating databases efficiently and accurately 

Required Education & Experience

Two years Customer Service experience
Account Receivable or Collection experience strongly preferred

Additional skills desired include:

Must posses and have 2+ years experience with strong customer service and analytical skills
Attention to detail with excellent follow-up skills
Excellent customer-facing skills and customer-orientation
Analytical ability; understanding of how to analyze data and arrive at conclusions.
Basic comprehension of all products/services sold
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of billing procedures and collection techniques (e.g. skip tracing)
Familiarity with laws related to debt collection (e.g. FDCPA)
Strong organizational skills
Excellent team building skills
