The Hydraulic Valve Division is part of the Motion Systems Group of Parker Hannifin Corporation and consists of three locations:  Elyria, OH, Hicksville, OH and Forest City, NC.  The principal business function of the Division is the manufacturing of Hydraulic Valves

Under supervision by design engineering, this position will be responsible for support of engineering operations, product qualification testing, and miscellaneous experimental investigations. It is a hands-on position that allows exposure to a variety of products, test techniques, design software, and fabrication.
Interfaces with lab technicians, engineers, quality, and supply chain staff to expedite testing and assist in the product development cycle. Some interaction with customers and vendors may be required.

1. Provide support to design engineering department
2. Work in R&D lab as needed
3. Perform design and assembly of test fixtures
4. Create ECRs/ECOs/helpdesk tickets to change engineering documents (drawings, specifications, etc.)
5. Perform hydraulic testing of development and production products
6. Interface with suppliers to quote prototype parts as needed
7. Analyze and post-process test data
8. Support value stream and Winovation projects to expedite products to market
Any other duties as assigned.

Must have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Willing to do hands on work in a lab or shop environment at least 35% of the time.
Working towards degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Well organized and able to work with minimal supervision.
Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
Experience with 2D or 3D CAD software, data acquisition.
Experience with machining or fabrication preferred.
