Apheresis Program Specialist
The Apheresis Program Specialist aids in the growth of the apheresis and specialized products programs by assisting in identifying optimal donor placement based on donors’ characteristics and hospital demand. They will provide successful conversions representing the company and meets the weekly/monthly/annual collection goals in these various programs.
The job functions include:
Recruit and schedule donors from provided lists incorporating all of the key talking points used for call evaluations, and documents call results.
Achieve individual performance expectations for customer service, appointments scheduled, and donor show rate by utilizing call lists.
Work closely with supervisor, Collection Services staff and Hospital Services reps during daily demand planning meeting and throughout the day to meet daily SDP needs in an ever changing environment.
Update, maintain, and track all necessary reports, records, and activity information.
Conduct special donor recruitment projects at various locations and distributes CBC information and other related duties as requested.
Educate conversion candidates on programs and procedures and assists in recruiting matched donors, and strengthen the donor-CBC relationship with all donors.
Complies with all policies and procedures as outlined in the CBC Employee Handbook, CBC SOPs or directives upon assignment. Maintains job-related skills by attending team meetings and training sessions and reading publications.
Performs other duties as assigned.
