Overview
Interstates is growing, and we are currently seeking a Senior Network Administrator to join our OTIS Team. The Senior Network Administrator will collaborate with our manufacturing and industrial customers on design, configuration and implementation of advanced computing systems. Interstates seeks ambitious, innovative individuals with the ability to grow and maintain value-added relationships with our team and external customers.
Responsibilities
Design, configure and install advanced computing infrastructure
Communicate with customers and lead delivery of projects
Provide technical leadership for junior team members
Provide troubleshooting services to our customers
Provide assessments of current OT infrastructure at customer facilities
Work within project teams consisting of clients, electrical engineers, and control system programmers to deliver integrated automation solutions
Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications
Education and/or Experience:
2 or 4-year degree Information Technology, Network/Systems Administration or Computer Science or a related technical field or equivalent combination of education and related experience/training.
5-7 years' experience in Information Technology and ground up system design configuration.
CCNA, VMware Certification, or other relevant professional-level certification
Experience with IP addressing and subnetting.
Experience with advanced networking troubleshooting, analysis, and performance tuning.
Experience with Microsoft Visio and advanced network documentation.
Preferred Skills:
Customer service oriented
Excellent verbal and written communication
Operational Technology systems experience, Networking in a manufacturing environment
SCADA experience
Cyber Security Awareness
Travel: This position is in our Sioux Center, IA, Sioux Falls, SD, or West Chester, OH offices. Travel will be required up to 35% of the time.
