The Hydraulic Valve Division is part of the Motion Systems Group of Parker Hannifin Corporation and consists of three locations:  Elyria, OH, Hicksville, OH and Forest City, NC.  The principal business function of the Division is the manufacturing of Hydraulic Valves.

This is a 2nd shift hourly position in out Elyria, OH location.  This person will set up and adjust multiple spindle automatic cam controlled machines.
Pay Scale is $26.95 - $32.16

1. Perform diversified machining operations on complicated short run or long run repetitive work. 
2. Must maintain close/exacting tolerances and finish specifications involving multi-tooled set ups. 
3. Often runs multiple machines simultaneously. 
4. Responsible for lubrication of machines and correct settings when necessary. 
5. Diagnose any malfunctions and assist in training others when required. 
6. Continuously reduce set up time. 
7. Must stock up machine with bars and remove chips.
8. Determine cause of operating errors/troubleshooting machines.
9. Must use and read simple to complicated blue prints and gaging equipment.
10. Must have knowledge of cams, gears, collets, forms, drills, taps, die heads, pushers, shavers, chasers and reamers.
11. Maintains neat, clean work area and maintains the highest degree of quality, quantity, throughput, safety, cost reduction and customer service continuously.
12. Ability to work individually or with a team.
13. Perform these duties and others as requested.

*Must have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent
*Basic knowledge shop math, reading, writing and print reading
