Job Description

Kimball Midwest, a national distributor of maintenance, repair and operation products, is searching for a Customer Service Associate in our Columbus, OH, location. We are looking for a hardworking, and customer focused individual who is willing to learn and grow with Kimball Midwest.

This position will be responsible for performing all those duties associated with providing excellent customer service to sales representatives, customers, and internal staff. Such duties include, but are not limited to order entry, invoicing, reporting, and communicating via phone and email. This position will also be responsible for performing other various duties that are assigned by the Administrative Services Manager and Assistant Manager.

A high school diploma, or the equivalent
A person who is dependable (i.e. report to work daily barring any unforeseen circumstances)
Customer service experience
The ability to perform 5000-6000+ keystrokes per hour
Proficiency in Microsoft software applications such as Excel, Word, and Outlook
The ability to multitask successfully in a fast-paced environment
The ability to communicate professionally with management, customers, and co-workers in both written and verbal form
This position requires excellent name/number perception skills and the ability to research in a catalog


The hours are 8:30am – 5:00pm, Monday through Friday
