Job Summary





Our corporate activities are growing rapidly, and we are currently seeking a full-time, office-based Strategic Sourcing Associate to join our Commercial Operations – Vendor Management team. Responsibilities





Support lifecycle management of vendor relationships and contracts for Medpace projects including processes for vendor identification, vendor selection (sourcing), contract execution, performance management, and termination;
Serve as a dedicated, centralized subject matter expert on vendor projects for key business partners and vendors;
Assist in review of third-party quotations, contracts, and amendments for business implications, acceptable predefined legal terms, and execution;
Apply strategic understanding of vendor policies and procedures including sourcing and purchase contracts;
Provide support to Vendor Managers in commercial negotiations for pricing and terms;
Utilize governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) software to manage vendor contract execution and performance management;
Support new vendor due diligence including credentialing and partnering across Medpace to ensure risk assessment, audit, and vendor compliance processes are followed;
Monitor third-party vendor performance leveraging Medpace processes for evaluation and escalate to Vendor Managers as necessary;
May be responsible for other projects and responsibilities as assigned.



Qualifications





Bachelor’s degree and 0-3 years of relevant professional-level experience;
Prefer experience in related global and/or regional clinical vendor service area and project management;
Ability to learn and apply knowledge of GxP regulations and guidelines;
Experience with managing multiple project schedules and deliverables.
Ability to perform several tasks simultaneously in a dynamic environment in order to meet deadlines is essential
