JOB DESCRIPTION: Under manager supervision, worker will assist with directing, coordinating, monitoring, documentating activities and motivating coworkers with the handling and application of herbicides. Worker may use backpack sprayer and hand tools to apply herbicides to clear vegetation or debris from utility rights of way, rangelands, wildlife areas, roadsides, industrial sites, and other areas carrying up to 35lbs of equipment while walking on rough terrain.
REQUIREMENTS: Must be 21 years if age, hold valid driver's licensed, meet all company driver standard, pas a company driver test, complete company application, and may be required to obtain DOT medical card prior to driving, one year of documented exp. supervising at least 5 brush clearers on utility rights of ways or forest lands, must have demonstrated competence identifying foliage, handling pesticides, and performing low volume herbicide application techniques to industry standards. Must be able to obtain a state pesticide license to work in areas where required by government regulation, drug screen
WORK HOURS: M-Sunday, 50 hours per week from 6:30AM- 4:00PM

ON THE JOB TRAINING PROVIDED: Minimal
WAGE OFFER: $16.00- $35.08 per hour. Overtime at $24.00- $52.62 per hour. A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. Paid weekly.
PAYROLL DEDUCTIONS: All deductions from the worker’s paycheck required by law will be made.
BOARD, LODGING, OR FRINGE BENEFITS Employer will pay the cost of lodging to the extent such costs would reduce pay below the offered wage rate for the area of the intended employment.
DAILY TRANSPORTATION (OPTIONAL) Workers are responsible for daily transportation to and from the designated pick-up location. Employer will then provide each work crew with daily transportation among the worksite locations.
FIRST WORKWEEK GUARANTEE Workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visas, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (except passport fees).
Inbound / Outbound Transportation and Subsistence If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, the employer will arrange and pay directly for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker’s voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily meals will be provided at a rate of at least $12.68per day during travel to a maximum of $55.00per day with receipts.
Provision of Tools, Supplies, and Equipment The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job.
Single Workweek for PayThe employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due.
