SUMMARY

This position derives and communicates specific insights across commercial and sales teams to enrich understanding of our customers and improve targeting and customer engagement.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Analyzes data to deliver and communicate customer insights.
Works closely with data engineers to access data and build models to derive insights.
Analyzes and monitors key data metrics, and identifies key trends/issues.
Develops and delivers strategic commercial recommendations based on rigorous data analysis.
Analyzes customer lifetime value by segment in order to drive and estimate future growth.
Produces insightful analytics that supports the delivery of the commercial excellence organization agenda.
Supports cross-functional analytic requests.
Ensures the most effective analytical solution by receiving and translating analytic requests from commercial teams to data engineers.
Completes feedback loop for analytical requests between data engineers and internal business customers.
Maintains strong relationships with internal stakeholders across the commercial organization.
Leads and assists in other projects and performs other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelor's degree required.

Degree in business administration, finance, economics, or mathematics preferred.

Experience:

1-4 years of overall analytics experience.
A good understanding of CRM, data focused marketing and advertising.
Experience in health and animal health preferred.
Experience in working with business/commercial/customer data and making actionable recommendations.
Experience in a "translator" role communicating business needs to analytical teams.
Experience with business intelligence tools (Tableau, Alteryx, Sisense, others)

A natural ability with numbers, with the ability to work quickly and at a high level of detail and accuracy, and a highly analytical approach to problem solving.
Good presentation, communication, and collaboration skills.
An entrepreneurial mindset; someone who is always finding ways to improve the status-quo.
Ability to work cross-functionally and build and maintain relationships with internal customers.
Solid project management skills.
Advanced analytical and excel modeling skills (e.g., big data, predictive/prescriptive, ML).
