The Manager, Contract Administration leads a team to ensure value capture by leading contract creation, tracking, and administration to the portfolio of commercial agreements, and supporting the sales team in contract negotiations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Create, administer, and monitor practice contracts
Guide specialists in the creation of contracts in order to provide accurate view of commercial agreements
Ensure that approved commercial terms are accurately reflected in each contract
Clearly track timeline / schedule of contracts to understand the contractual terms such as rebates
Maintain a repository of all buy-side contractual records, documents, signed contracts and records supporting all business cases prepared for review to have clear, organized view of all records
Oversee analysts to ensure consistent management of all contracts including contracting process oversight, document management, contract close-out, extensions, and renewals
Support contract negotiation preparation to ensure value capture
Support sales team in contract negotiation and preparation to achieve the best contract price by providing related contract history and information
Provide feedback on contract terms to sales team
Leads and assists in other projects and performs other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field required; MBA preferred.

Experience:

5+ years of pricing and contracting preferred
Animal health industry, preferred
Previous experience applying organizational standards & requirements when developing requests for proposals, negotiating terms, and drafting contracts
Synthesizing and conveying complex information in a way that others can readily follow
