Title: Epic Customer Experience Advisor
Overview of Position
We are seeking an exceptional candidate who has deep Epic practical experience with Cadence, Prelude and/or Resolute, and HB/PB Claims. This will help to ensure the ability to sell the value and communicate integration best practices to determine the necessary work-flow requirements, design and modifications for successful implementation and adoption of our RCM Solutions. This role will also work with internal stakeholders to ensure Change Healthcare implementation tools and processes support Epic implementation best practices and recommendations.
What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?
Communicate, collaborate and work to design and apply best practice implementation and adoption of Clearance, Assurance and/or Analytics with Epic's Cadence, Prelude and/or Resolute solutions
Responsibility for a portfolio of multiple clients and be responsible for effectively managing simultaneous projects and workstreams to successful outcomes - managing internal and external expectations as well as to overall project timelines
Knowledge of Epic and what can be accomplished will help serve in determining the necessary work-flow requirements, design and modifications to make the client successful in implementation and adoption of best practices
End goal is to successfully transition a client from presales to post live adoption with Epic Best Practice which includes review of goals, value discussions, design, training, reviewing metrics and recommending optimizations.
Improvement and driving adoption of standardization of processes across all solutions currently in portfolio with Epic. Application of the standardizations across additional solutions and services in S&A as it pertains to Epic.
Out of the box thinking to accomplish new / additive feature / functionality by leveraging CHC assets with Epic
Proven ability to engage, collaborate and influence outcomes with multiple executives (including decision makers and influencers) across different organizations
What are the requirements needed for this position?
5+ years of combined experience in provider revenue cycle management, Epic revenue cycle implementation and/or previous RCM consulting highly desired
Full life cycle project consultation / implementation experience in Prelude, Cadence, Resolute Hospital Billing/Professional Billing and other revenue cycle application experience and certified desired (i.e. Claims, Charge Router, Charge Capture, SBO, or Tapestry).
Must have current Epic certification in at least one of the following: Prelude, Cadence, Resolute (HB/PB), HB Claims, PB Claims
Background in process improvement or assessing IT/operational effectiveness a major plus
Bachelor's degree required in Marketing, Business or related field or equivalent experience
Industry Certification a plus (CRCR, CHAM, CHFP, FHFMA, FACHE)
What other skills/experience would be helpful to have?
Experience in driving change and effectively managing communication with internal and external stakeholders
Ability to achieve results in a production/quality driven environment.
Strong project delivery methodology skills.
Able to work independently and as part of a collaborative group
Excellent computer skills and proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
What are the working conditions and physical requirements of this job?
Environment - Office environment, 50%+ travel required.
Living location can be anywhere within the contiguous 48 states and near a major airport.
Physical Requirements - Sitting, standing, walking, and using keyboard.
How much should I expect to travel?
Must live close to a major metro airport and be willing to do 60% overnight travel.
Must be able to travel at least 60% of the time
Ability and interest to travel weekly, although our model is designed to save money for our clients by delivering high-level services remotely as much as possible.
Employees in roles that require travel will need to be able to qualify for a company credit card or be able to use their own personal credit card for travel expenses and submit for reimbursement.
