This position analyzes sales and consumer data in support of defined sales and account initiatives. Provides analytical support on the category advisor team leveraging fact-based insights. Significant portion of the role will be dedicated to the creation and maintenance of Kroger space planning. The primary purpose of this position is to ensure optimum utilization of fact-based information, aligned with category management best practices in order to maximize category sales for the retailer.
Key Job Responsibilities:
Data extraction, cleaning and analysis from a wide variety of available systems and synthesize that data into actionable recommendations.
Development of planograms using JDA space planning software.
Provide category insights and analytics through use of Retail Link, IRI syndicated data, M6 and Stratum.
Identify and communicate the insights and opportunities to the category team.
Ability to leverage insights and partner with advisor in developing category strategies for growth.
Develop and maintain strong business relationships with Kroger as trusted advisor.
Leverage JDA to deliver new item placement and display recommendations.
Build planograms in JDA to demonstrate category objectives to Kroger.
Set up new items in 1 World Sync and Kroger VIP.
Work across BBU Business Units, Brand Teams, Kroger team and Customer in a complex environment to assure seamless execution.
Establish consistent cadence for communicating with internal stakeholders.

Bachelor Degree in Business or related field. A combination of education, training and experience that results in demonstrated competency to perform the work may be substituted.
Ideal candidate will possess:
3-6 years years of related sales/analytical responsibility.
3+ years experience with JDA space planning software.
Experience in Customer Management or Category Management preferred
Experience using of PC-based applications (MS Windows and MS Office) with emphasis in ADVANCED Excel proficiency is required.
Proficient in operating M6 and Stratum.
Previous experience in Power BI preferred
