Job Description

Applied Research Solutions is seeking a full-time Neuroscientist, located at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, who’s primary function will be to design the development and operations of the biologically inspired machine learning algorithms.

Responsibilities include:

Architect biologically inspired machine learning solutions

Design and document artificial intelligence, machine learning, and neuroscience methods

Utilize basics of engineering programming environment for high level demonstration

Consult with and work with artificial intelligence engineers (coders, machine learning experts, AI hardware designers, theoretical mathematicians, etc.)

Consider DoD and USAF problems and develop actionable neuroscience inspired machine learning solutions

Collaborate in team-based research

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Technical experience required:

Neuroscience-related Ph.D. (Human Physiology, Neurophysiology, or Cognitive Neuroscience)

10+ years of experience in neuroscience

2+ years of experience in machine learning

Experience in human subjects multivariate and secondary data analyses experimental designs

Strong foundation in cognitive neuroscience

Secret Clearance
