We are looking for a hardworking Web Designer with a strong portfolio to join our team and contribute to the success of Hyland's Education Services team. The role will work closely with both online and offline areas within the team to ensure consistency of branding and messaging. The Web Designer should have thorough understanding of web production and the capabilities within digital challenges as well as a comprehensive understanding of current web conventions, technologies and standards. The ideal candidate will flourish with innovation, never be at a loss for a new insight or improvement, and care deeply about the experience that Training.Hyland.com is providing to our customers.

What you will be doing

Develop basic, moderate risk online materials with oversight from team members
Participate in project teams in which online materials are developed, executed, reported and measured
Code and test HTML templates in support of online efforts
Execute brand guidelines and established style guides in support of all online efforts
Integrate video, flash, animation, still images, text and audio into the graphical design of Web pages and landing pages
Utilize various graphical software tools and technologies to transform graphical concepts into specific Web pages
Work with existing Content Management System (CMS) for website edits, document postings and other updates and changes
Ensure that all design elements, templates and finished solutions work within a variety of browser types and screen settings along with the constraints set by development and design
Regularly provide input on how to improve internal efficiencies; grow knowledge and be aware of best practices and market trends
Comply with all corporate and departmental privacy and data security policies and practices, including but not limited to, Hyland's Information Systems Security Policy

What will make you successful

Bachelor's Degree in a Web technologies field
Experience with Web-based graphic design or Web interface design
Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, CSS or Bootstrap
Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
Highly organized and experienced at successfully multi-tasking
Self-motivated with the ability to manage projects to completion with minimal oversight
Good collaboration skills, applied successfully within team as well as with other areas
Up to 5% travel time required
Or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the principal duties of the job
