Desired Skills/Duties: Landscaping and Groundskeeping Workers

MULTIPLE WORKSITES: Mercer and Lawrence counties in (PA); Tuscarawas, Trumbull, Summit, Stark, Portage, Mahoning and Columbiana coiunties in (OH)

JOB DESCRIPTION: Landscape or maintain grounds of property using hand or power tools or equipment. Workers typically perform a variety of tasks, which may include: sod laying, mowing, trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, and raking, assist with irrigation installation and installation of mortarless segmental concrete wall units.
REQUIREMENTS: Must lift/carry 50lbs., employer-paid drug testing required of foreign and domestic workers prior to commencing work and post-hire at random, upon suspicion of use, and post-accident. Post-hire background check required of foreign and domestic workers. Extensive walking, exposure to extreme temperatures, frequent stooping, repetitive movements. Requires three months of previous landscape experience.
WORK HOURS: 7:30AM-4:00PM, M-F, Saturday and Sunday work required, when necessary. Employer may offer morethan the stated work hours, depending on weather, business needs, and other conditions. Extreme heat, cold, rain, or drought may affect exact working hours.

WAGE OFFER: $15.69 per hour. Overtime at $23.54 per hour. A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. Paid bi-weekly. Raises and/or bonuses may be offered to any worker in the specified occupation, at the company's sole discretion, based on individual factors including work performance, skill, and tenure. Workers are paid by check on Friday.
OVERTIME INFORMATION: OT hours vary
PAYROLL DEDUCTIONS: All deductions from the worker’s paycheck required by law will be made. Employer does not envision other workforce-wide payroll deductions. Voluntary deductions must be pre-authorized in writing and may include the following: Employer will deduct for the reasonable fair market value cost of rent and utilities based on number of occupants for workers who voluntarily elect to live in employer-offered housing. The employer offers optional employee health insurance and retirement plans to its workers; participation in any such plan is voluntary. Employer provides first set of uniforms at no cost to workers. Employer will deduct for cost of replacement uniforms if resulting from worker negligence. Additional uniforms are available for purchase by the worker. Such purchases are optional and for the worker's beneift.
BOARD, LODGING, OR FRINGE BENEFITS If needed, employer will assist in arranging optional worker-paid lodging for hired foreign and non-local U.S. workers.
DAILY TRANSPORTATION (OPTIONAL) Workers are responsible for daily transportation to and from the designated pick-up location. Employer will then provide each work crew with daily transportation among the worksite locations.
FIRST WORKWEEK GUARANTEE Workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visas, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (except passport fees).
Inbound / Outbound Transportation and Subsistence If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, the employer will reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker’s voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily meals will be provided at a rate of at least $12.68per day during travel to a maximum of $55.00per day with receipts.
Provision of Tools, Supplies, and Equipment The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job.
Single Workweek for PayThe employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due.
THREE-FOURTHS GUARANTEE (Optional)The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period.
