Position Summary
SSOE Group is seeking an Electrical Designer for our Automotive, Manufacturing, and Facilities Group in one of the following locations:
*Toledo, Ohio
*Troy, MI
*Nashville, TN
*Birmingham, AL

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Complete designs using Revit design software with support from Senior Engineers.
Create power, lighting, and grounding systems design.
Perform calculations with support from Senior Engineers.
Develop REVIT models for engineering projects.
Design and create construction drawings as required on projects assigned.
Minimum Education and Experience
None Specified / ENTRY / 0-2
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Associates degree preferred.
Experience with Revit software is required.
Technical writing capabilities.
Experience with building power and lighting system design.
Understanding of building codes preferred.
Familiarity with lighting calculation software
Knowledge of project design, cost, and scheduling.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment.
Strong communication skills with the ability to work with a design team
Ability to work with remote office team members
Ability to work from home is preferred.
