The main purpose of the Implementation Specialist is to effectively manage and coordinate all aspects of new client implementations and client-related requests including setup, configuration and installation of the system per clients’ specifications.
This role is expected to ensure that implementation projects are completed and delivered on time, on budget and to the agreed quality standards.
Oversee all aspects of new client implementations projects; including documenting client requirements, developing project timelines, software configuration, updating appropriate internal systems, tracking project milestones and providing regular feedback to stakeholders and executive management.
Proactively coordinate projects and act as central point of contact for the implementation project team, including strategic account managers, clients, operations staff, technical staff, and other related or external staff as required.
Complete all setup and configurations of scheduled client implementation per the documented configuration requirements and checklists.
Complete all related testing and validation as necessary per the documented implementation process and all established procedures.
Responsible for the daily management of some post implementation projects; Coordinate the scheduling of these projects with all departments impacted.
Act as the lead in customer communication regarding client requests, addressing operational and technical issues as required.
Work with internal departments, Client Services, Operations and other business areas, ensuring that the customer expectations are identified, documented, communicated, and successfully completed.
Acquire necessary approval and sign-off from key client contact(s) on the appropriate completion of implementation per their expectations.
Create and maintain accurate, organized and complete project files to include all documents required to sustain internal compliance.
Work with department staff to implement ongoing process improvements, specific to detailed processes.
Act as backup support, when required, for other Implementation related activity and projects as needed.
Associate Degree or higher, or equivalent experience. Prefer Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology or related degree.
2-4 years’ experience and/or education in Project Management or related field.
Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
Proven project management capability
Demonstrated ability to build customer relationships and take ownership of processes
Self-starter and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to work independently or in a team environment
Strong problem identification and problem-solving skills
