Job Description

SUMMARY:

Responsibilities for the Level 1 Central Station Event Analyst include responding to all communication requests and alarm signals appropriately and executing life safety processes and procedures in a central station environment under supervision.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Resolve operational and customer service issues independently and as part of a team under direction.

Operate all BSOC equipment and peripheral equipment under supervision.

Interact with external and internal customers via telephone, email and in person independently and promote a positive customer service atmosphere.

Perform other duties as assigned, including specialized projects.

Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

Self motivated problem solver with demonstrated analytical skill set.

Good organizational, multi tasking, and time management skills.

Ability to work in a team environment.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills, 30 wpm

Successful completion of CSAA Central Station Operator Training Course (80%).

Successful completion of 4 week on the job training.

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

General office environment in a Central Station setting.

Minimal domestic and international travel will be required.

THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE WORKING IN A SHIFT ENVIRONMENT, SATURDAY AND/OR SUNDAY AND HOLIDAYS.
