UX Designer and Strategist

Overview of Position
TheUX Designer & Strategist will be responsible for designing and optimizinguser experiencesacross the enterprise for marketing-oriented digital properties at one of the largest healthcare technology companies in the U.S. This high visibility role will be responsible for aligning stakeholders across the business on a holistic UX vision, working with external agencies and internal teams on discovery, user flows,and design. The successful candidate will be a proven leader in UX design and strategy with a strong background increatingfunctional design specifications for compelling and intuitive experiences that align with the buyer journey and the brand story. The candidate will be recognized as a subject matter expert and advanced individual contributor, taking innovative approaches to increasing engagement, conversion rates, and driving revenue. The work will relate back to a solid understanding of customer journeys, personas, personalization, testing, and UX best practices, with a focus on leveraging data for continuous optimization to deliver results.

What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?

Design intuitive user experiences for responsive web using advanced UX concepts
Align UX strategic approach with business objectives and in collaboration with key business areas
Translate ideas and concepts into workable wireframes, user task flow diagrams, and functional design specifications
Communicate and present to stakeholders regarding user needs and design solutions
Collaborate with developers for design implementation
Formulate personalization and testing strategy
Create buyer journey maps with a focus on personas and needs
Educate on UX best practices

What are the requirements needed for this position?

8 years experience in UX design for marketing oriented websites (ideally with fortune 500 companies or digital marketing agencies)
8 years experience using latest UX tools for design, personalization, and analytics
8 years experience aligning cross-functional teams on user-centered design processes and strategy
Strong interest in building UX strategy function within the marketing organization
Expert using XD and the Adobe Creative Cloud
Experience with analytics and testing tools such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Full Story, Adobe Target, Optimizely, and Qualtrics

What are the working conditions and physical requirements of this job?

General office demands

Knowledge: Possesses deep expertise in User-Centered Design (UCD) and demonstrated use of such techniques in the product and service markets. Leads UX design projects with multiple cross functional teams to inform, test and execute digital designs for web-based, enterprise network, and/or mobile applications based on business needs and opportunities for existing and new products. Extensive experience in using rapid prototyping and user testing in combination to ensure both high efficiency and high customer-relevant value in the final product. Active learner, seeking to expand and share knowledge and experience in UX/UI design, as to best support the evolving needs of the team and Change Healthcare.

Complexity/Supervision: Leads design projects and is responsible for designing all points of interaction for Change Healthcare's current and future software products and solutions, providing vision and judgement in leading such UX design projects. Exercises good judgement and is accountable for driving a cohesive (if not consistent) customer experience throughout, seeking to eliminate all arbitrary differences by recognizing and encouraging interaction patterns that can be abstracted and used by as many lines of business and customer types as possible.  Regularly engages senior leaders and decision makers in the review of user-informed design recommendations.

Experience: Bachelor's Degree required, and advanced degree or studies preferred with at least eight years hands-on design experience, working across multiple platforms, including mobile, web, personal computer.
