Joina difference making team that is part of Alion Science and Technology's continued growth and success. Alion is currently seeking a Desktop Support Technician 4. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, solid technical knowledge and be a self-starter. The candidate will need to be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Desktop Support Job Purpose
Works across a broad range of technologies and liaises across multiple areas of the business to support incidents, problems and requests. Responsible for answering IT requests via phone, email, live chat or instant message and explaining solutions in technical and nontechnical terms
Job Duties
Act as the initial point of contact for all computer, system and network issues
Identify, log and resolve technical issues in a timely fashion
Assist users with 2FA setup for access to IT resources
Image and deploy laptops\desktops
Performs other duties including advanced projects as required
Required Skills:
3-5 years of Desktop Support experience in a Microsoft Windows environment
Desired Skills:
5-8 years preferred experience
Strong communication skills
Technical aptitude to learn new technologies
A+, Network+, Microsoft 365 certifications
Knowledge or experience pertaining to the following software:
Office 365
Windows 10
Intune
Microsoft Teams
OneDrive
SharePoint
Active Directory
Bitlocker
