Join our corporate Supply Chain Team and work with experienced supply chain professionals while you apply your learning and build real-world experience in this Internship opportunity.   You will receive training on systems, tools, and industry best practices.

This internship is part of a supply chain and analytics team based out of Columbus, OH for Hexion. We're looking for an individual with a passion for leveraging mathematical modeling techniques to model our supply chain.  This includes (but is not limited to) Demand Forecasting, Production Planning, Production Scheduling, and Logistics Optimization.

Job Responsibilities

Translation of user requirements into business and functional requirements
Software modeling of functional requirements
Business process modeling of business requirements
Creation of Analytics to communicate meaningful results.
Teaching supply chain principles to the businesses

Competencies

Minimum Qualifications

Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite of products especially Excel and PowerPoint (should be familiar with pivot tables and v lookups, etc.)
Creativity and ability to work on own initiative and meet deadlines
Attention to detail
Excellent team player
Senior in undergraduate studies for operations management, operations research, supply chain management, etc. OR Currently in pursuit of Master's degree with a supply chain or operations management focus
Minimum Cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.00 at current educational institute
Must be local to Columbus, OH and available to work part-time throughout the school year

Education Requirements
Senior in undergraduate studies for operations management, operations research, supply chain management, etc.

If currently an employee of the Company, you must have current satisfactory work performance and in most cases, have been in your current role 18 months.
