We're looking for an enthusiastic, detail-oriented individual with the flexibility to work among four related, but different, departments.  The intern will be given the opportunity to work with data administration (Consolidations department), management reporting (Internal Reporting department), SEC reporting (External Reporting department) and Corporate FP&A.

Duties will include all manner of Excel analysis, loading and maintaining data in the Consolidations / reporting system, continual review of data to ensure integrity, preparation of reports / presentations, etc.

Job Responsibilities
Project work and daily External/Internal Reporting, Consolidation and FP&A functions.
Consolidations:

Monthly Consolidation loads and validation
Intercompany and Investment Elimination out of balance research
Post monthly consolidation entries and adjusting entries

External Reporting:

Support 10-Q financial statement preparation process, business unit reporting, Drafting of financial statements and footnote disclosures and maintenance of supporting workpapers, review, reconciliation and tie-out of public financial statements and documents (10-Q document and Earnings Release documents)

Internal Reporting:

Help to prepare regular and ad hoc reports, largely using BFC Analytics Excel tool
Review and reconcile reports
Prepare initial drafts of monthly reporting calendar
Assist in initial preparation of PowerPoint presentations used by executive management
Assist in periodic forecasting process (load submission file into BFC, prepare summaries, etc.)
Process Documentation

FP&A

Developing budgets / forecasts
Analyzing monthly & annual cost trends
Shared services analysis and monitoring
Cash forecasting
Special projects

Competencies

Minimum Qualifications

Proficient with Microsoft Office, notably Excel and PowerPoint.
Understanding of basic accounting principles and financial statements.
Current Junior OR Senior in undergraduate accounting program
Minimum Cumulative GPA of 3.00/4.00 at current educational institute

Minimum Cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.00 at current educational institute

Other
