While reporting to theSupervisor,asan Experienced Manufacturing Associate or Entry LevelAssociates,youwill be responsible for operating all manufacturing equipment.Safety, quality, productivityandstrongwork ethic are important to the Sonoco culture.

What You'll Be Doing:
Experience/Skilled Manufacturing
Set up and operateproductionmachine and ensure proper dimensions are set up
Adjust machine components to regulate speeds, pressures, temperatures, and amounts, dimensions and flow of materials or ingredients
Ensure that quality expectations are met and notify lead technician, or supervisor, when extruded product fails to meet standards
Record and Maintain production data such as meter readings ad quantities, types and dimensions of materials produced
Turn controls to adjust machine functions, such as regulating air pressure or die gaps
Maintains and repairs production equipment within the maintenance area
Entry Level
Collaborating closely with departments and plant teams to complete basic manufacturing
Packs product into boxes, retrieves product from equipment and operates machinery
Making incremental process adjustments, monitor and report quality of manufactured products
Critical thinking and troubleshooting skills to setup new production jobs
Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area
Assists other departments as needed

You haveexperience as askilled manufacturingoperator
2 years of machine operator experience
2 years of manufacturing experience
Ability to read, write, and perform math skills
Understanding of manufacturing and quality control
