Job Description
Industrial Engineer Co-op
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Analyze and make recommendations on Plant Operations regarding internal processes
Optimize the utilization of resources to integrate people, equipment, systems, space, technology, time, and capital
Utilize excel to analyze work processes, material flow of products and establish manufacturing rates/standards
Apply interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with fellow teammates and achieve common goals
Work in a hands-on environment with cross functional teams, at least 50% on floor
Utilize project management skills to develop, manage, and control scope, schedule, and cost
Preferred Competencies:
Highly motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
People centric focus with ability to collaborate with all teammates across the organization
Strong initiative, work ethic and levels of enthusiasm
Demonstrated technical aptitude in major of study
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Preferred experience with data representation using MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint)

QUALIFICATIONS
Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or other applicable major
Preferred junior to senior level standing with minimum GPA of 3.0
Enrolled in an accredited college or university the semester prior to the co-op/internship
Preferred ability to work 40 hours weekly in a 3-month internship, or minimum 6-month co-op assignment
