Kimball Midwest, a national distributor of maintenance, repair and operation products, is searching for an Assistant to the Division Manager in our Sales Administration Department for our Columbus, OH location. We are looking for a hardworking and motivated individual who is willing to learn and grow with Kimball Midwest.
Our Assistant to the Division Manager will be responsible for completing administrative tasks and strategic projects, managing travel and calendars, answering calls and emails, coordinating meetings, preparing agendas and preparing reports.

This position requires a high school diploma and a minimum of an Associate's Degree or four (4) years' experience in a similar position using the required position skills
This position requires expert computer skills including Microsoft Office (Outlook/Word/Excel/PowerPoint), Microsoft Teams, Customer Manager System (CRM), Expensify, and Sales Tools. It also requires the ability to quickly grasp new computer related functions as needed.
This position requires the ability to perform several tasks simultaneously and possess excellent prioritization and organization skills
This position requires the ability to communicate effectively with customers and Kimball Midwest associates, both in verbal and written form including the ability to understand and follow both verbal and written instructions
This position requires the ability to read and write letters and numbers and make basic arithmetic calculations
This position requires the ability to develop strong relationships with field managers, reps, and customers
This position requires knowledge of Kimball Midwest processes, procedures, and departments along with the demonstrated ability to influence others on the Sales Policy Manual and Sales Manager's Policy Manual
This position requires effective business writing skills as well as verbal communication and interpersonal skills, including persuasion and influence
This position requires the individual to conduct themselves in a professional manner while on Company business
This position requires a self-starter and proactive problem solver that possess the ability to professionally develop with Kimball Midwest.
This position requires adherence to all Company policies and procedures as state in the Kimball Midwest employee handbook.
This position requires the ability to sit for long periods of time, often up to four (4) hours at a time on a daily basis.
This position requires the ability to travel overnight on limited occasions.
This position requires the successful completion of a ninety (90) day orientation period.
