Job Description


Review loan documentation to ensure accuracy and accordance with loan approval requirements

Facilitate loan closings in conjunction with and on behalf of Relationship Manager

Administer construction loans in accordance and in conjunction with Construction Loan Administration

Proactively identify and escalate declining financial performance/negative indicators within the commercial real estate loan portfolio on a timely basis

Test covenants and follow up as appropriate

Act as the first line of defense to recommend and process timely risk rating changes in conjunction with the Relationship Manager

Monitor loan management tracking reports and ensure timely action and escalation as warranted

Initiate and/or complete loan modifications not requiring full underwriting

Manage and maintain collateral requirements

Coordinate and assist with criticized loan reports and construction loan memos as part of the Watch List program

Act as a liaison with Commercial Loan Processing and Servicing departments, Loan Review, Audit, and other departments as required

Jointly call on clients to stay apprised of business activity/performance and serve as additional contact point

Facilitate client service requests

Optimize client relationships and create an exceptional client experience

PREFERRED EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: 4 years business/finance or related degree preferred; 3-5 years of relevant experience in commercial real estate lending, loan review and/or credit administration/underwriting. Ability to perform financial analysis, assess risk, review documentation, coordinate loan closings and administer construction loans. Strong analytical, organizational and critical thinking skills. Must be detail oriented and proficient with Word and Excel. Excellent interpersonal skills, including verbal and writing communication. Team-oriented with ability to monitor and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
