Job Description
As a Population Health General Manager, you will manage the well-being programs within a region of risk-based sponsors, such as employers, governments and payers. You will own the client relationship and oversee the client experience for these clients utilizing Cerner's Consumer Well-being technology, and other Cerner services such as health coaching and health advocacy. You will manage the business financials & core booking expectations, establish best practices, provide consultation & recommendations for identified risk in populations, and develop strategy for new wellness innovations within your region. You will assist your team in thinking strategically on how to add value to our client base. As a Manager, you will have people management responsibilities which include identifying team priorities based on business direction, delegating work appropriately & providing clear expectations/feedback, ensuring progress & overcoming road blocks. You will also assist in the sales process by responding to RFPs and attending sales finalist meetings. You will also liaise with the analytics team in assimilating and digesting client data, communicating outcomes and developing new strategies based on the client's data.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience
At least 7 years of health plan, health plan broker, health care system, or health care consulting work experience
Preferred Qualifications
At least 7 years of wellness or condition/disease management program development or administration
At least 7 years of relationships management work experience
Expectations
Willing to travel up to 40-60% of the time as needed
Must reside in or be willing to relocate to Kansas City, MO or live within 60 miles of an approved virtual city
Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
Perform other responsibilities as assigned
