                                    Job Description





Whilst reporting to the Director, Risk Management, you will be part of a team that is responsible for the overall strategy related to claims management, data analytics, Parker's Captive, and other Risk Management related matters in relations to the day-to-day activities as well as during due diligence reviews for mergers and acquisitions. In this role, your focus will be on Operations related risks and therefore will ensure collection and coordination of relevant safety information in-between Third-Party Administrators (TPAs), Risk Management Information System Providers (RMIS) and internal Parker EHS and HR functions.

More specifically but not limited to, you will:
Maintain the RMIS and advise on data requirements for reports on trends and the identification of improvement opportunities in collaboration wit the EHS department.
Prepare and manage budgets, estimates and cost allocations to business units and provide reports and analysis to the Risk Management functional leaders and other related committees and instances.
Collaborate with Legal department to review leases, contracts and other legal documents to ensure compliance with insurance and risk management policies.
In collaboration with TPAs and Division HR managers, establish formal compensation service standards and ensure compliance of workers' compensation claims and measure trends overtime.
Investigate major losses and manage forensic consultants.
In collaboration with plants and business units management teams, coordinate the preparation, testing, maintenance and updating process of Business Continuity Plan (BCP) by providing templates, guidelines and procedures ensuring high level of accuracy and quality.
Coordinate the services provided by TPAs to ensure the highest quality standards and audit results and hold them accountable for adherence to claim management standards.
Increase visibility and communication on risk management related topics by developing and maintaining a Risk Management Website.

We are interested in your profile if you have:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline is required whilst a Master's Degree would be a definite plus. A professional certification such as CRM, ARM, CPCU, or another risk management or insurance designation is highly desirable.
Minimum of 5 years of experience acquired in a similar role in a risk management or insurance position at a large multination industrial manufacturing company.
Experience with captive insurers and other alternative financing mechanisms
Able to generate new ideas, champion different approaches, exhibit leadership abilities and encourage teamwork by actively supporting others.
Results oriented with the ability to solve practical problems in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Strong data analysis skills and ability to communicate findings to difference audiences.
