The Privacy Analyst works with the Chief Legal Officer and Global Privacy Officer to address data privacy matters relative to the organization.

What you will be doing

Assist with data privacy compliance initiatives as directed by the Chief Legal Officer and Global Privacy Officer
Conduct privacy and compliance research and maintain knowledge of privacy laws and regulatory requirements
Assist in the development and maintenance of policies and procedures that support the company's privacy program
Develop reporting and metrics around privacy initiatives and compliance and reports results to the Chief Legal Officer and Global Privacy Officer
Bring visibility to the privacy program throughout the organization
Provide training on updated policies and processes
Assist with privacy inquiries, data mapping, and risk assessments
Comply with all corporate and departmental privacy and data security policies and practices, including but not limited to, Hyland's Information Systems Security Policy

What will make you successful

Bachelor's Degree
Experience with data privacy matters
CIPM or other privacy certification
Experience with cyber security and/or corporate compliance
Microsoft Office Proficient
Able to thrive in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
Oral and written communications skills that demonstrate a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with others with discretion and tact
Critical thinking and problem solving skills
Organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills
Collaboration skills, applied successfully within team
Able to handle sensitive information with discretion and tact
Able to summarize large quantities of information in actionable insight
Interpersonal skills, able to maintain solid rapport with team members as well as maintain professionalism with those outside of department
Or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the principal duties of the job
