Position Overview:
As an Electrical Engineer Co-Op with Diebold Nixdorf you will have multiple opportunities to gain corporate experience by being involved in projects, staff meetings, and corporate events. You will be trained on the appropriate tools, languages, and documentation required. Diebold Nixdorf will provide a great learning experience, and you will be invited to participate in events with other Interns and Co-Ops.
You are responsible for:
Assist engineers in developing and maintaining electrical hardware for new, complicated electro-mechanical devices
Function as a team member providing insight and ideas to improve the development environment
Lead verification tasks with new electrical hardware designs, cables, CCAs, sensors, motors, etc.
Help with Electronic Displays and Paper Motion Movement Mechanisms (Flat Panel Displays, Motors, Microprocessors, etc.)
Possibly work in the OEM Testing area
Qualifications:
Must have and maintain 3.0 GPA or above
Must be currently attending a college or university pursuing a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
Experience in Windows XP Professional development environment
Some experience with Electronics and/or PC -- hobby interest or lab courses
Experience in video and video recording would be helpful
