Position Overview

A Diebold Nixdorf Engineering/Maintenance Technician Performs typical maintenance tasks to support the assembly floor and the entire facility.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

Performs prescribed preventative maintenance on machinery and the building or grounds as required
Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility's equipment
Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities
Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, troubleshooting and repair of production machines
Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions
Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties
Move equipment, electrical outlets, network jacks and other items as necessary for new layout of production and office space
Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas
Ability to provide quality customer service
Create PO requests and track the requests until received.
Maintain items in the Preventative Maintenance Database

Qualifications

Other Associate's degree or Trade School training is required
2-4 years of related experience in corporate facilities, industrial engineering, industrial maintenance/safety is required
Problem solving and analysis skills is required
Written and verbal communication skills is required
Ability to work outside of day shift hours as needed
Basic computer skills needed for email, purchase orders, database entry.

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of commercial building construction
Software proficiency: Microsoft Office
