The Manager, Business Continuity is responsible for defining, implementing, maintaining the overall business continuity and incident response strategy for the company's cloud platforms and associated product suite. This position will lead a team of individuals responsible for the execution and maintenance of the company cloud business continuity and incident response policies and plans.

What you will be doing

Define and develop business continuity, disaster recovery, and incident response strategic plans incorporating the security and availability of the company's hosting platforms and products which include developing resiliency and disaster recovery strategies for critical assets, services, and personnel.
Perform risk and business impact analysis on essential business functions or information systems to identify acceptable recovery time periods, budgets and resource requirement, and other business continuity goals; provide visibility to stakeholders.
Develop business continuity and incident response cross-over emergency management plans covering recovery decision thresholds, communication plans, processes for continuity or temporary shut-down of critical business procedures and tools to ensure ongoing operation across all areas of the company Cloud business.
Design and manage business continuity and incident response testing and audits to assess the company's posture against the applicable legal, regulatory, compliance and industry standards as well as the company's ability to meet defined thresholds for hosting customers, such as RTO, RPO, and other SLA requirements.
Educate process owners within the business unit and other company stakeholders on their responsibilities regarding business continuity and incident response procedures and requirements, including evidence collection, risk documentation, training materials, and other procedural information.
Develop, maintain, review, and approve policies and procedures in alignment with current the company Cloud governance, risk, and compliance program requirements.
Contribute to and manage to approved budget
Collaborate with team members and cross departmental stakeholders in creation and coordination of mutual goals
Provide cross-functional leadership to other departmental business continuity and incident response team members; provide feedback to leadership on abilities of the team members to meet defined operational and performance standards related to the business continuity and incident response programs.
Serve as an escalation point for issues; provide guidance, resolve issues as necessary, and remove obstacles for team
Operate as a trusted advisor to potential customers; develop and maintain strategic working relationships
Operate as an innovative thought leader; contribute significantly to the overall growth and quality of the department through knowledge sharing and coaching on current best practices and market trends
Comply with all corporate and departmental privacy and data security policies and practices, including but not limited to, Hyland's Information Systems Security Policy

What will make you successful

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
5+ years of experience in related field
2 years of program or talent management experience
Experience with disaster recovery facilitation and management
Experience with software, IT, and cloud computing security and risk principles, controls, frameworks, and mitigation strategies
Experience providing guidance and support to developing team members
Sharp, fast learner with a technology curiosity and aptitude
Self-motivated with follow through and attention to detail
Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills
Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills; able to maintain solid rapport with team members as well as maintain professionalism with those outside of department

Excellent ability to quickly classify business continuity and incident events and guide the team towards the necessary course of action
Ability to coach, mentor and provide feedback to team members in a timely manner
Microsoft Office proficient
Excellent knowledge of industry standard business continuity and incident response principles and best practices
Excellent understanding of core company products and technologies
