Overview





Credence Management Solutions, LLC,is hiring an Education and Development Manager (Registrar) who will be primarily responsible for supporting AFIT/EN at WPAFB, OH.



Responsibilities






Utilize the Datatel (now Elucian) Colleague Student Information System (SIS) to extract and analyze data, and prepare reports for academic and administrative staff within AFIT/EN.
Prepare new reports in such a way that the designated users can produce them as needed by changing the selection daEducationta to match the current requirement.
Responsible for Colleague software to enable analyses of AFIT processes and to prepare recommendations for system modifications and process improvements.
Implement the recommendations made to ensure the software is performing at maximum efficiency to meet the EN mission requirements.
Responsible for Colleague rule writing requirements to enable the inclusion of rules where necessary to produce the desired results in the development of process definitions.
Responsible to use the user documentation and training materials to prepare presentations which can be used to conduct training sessions with the appropriate staff members, including but not limited to, EN/ER staff, departmental administrative support personnel, heads.

Specifically:
Registrar assigned to the Director of Admissions and Registrar (DAR) shall be responsible for managing all aspects of the Datatel (now Elucian) Colleague Student Information System. This includes, but is not limited to, training, managing security protocols, testing and debugging new software patches and releases, developing reports and performing statistical analyses and providing input on ways to use the system more cost effectively.
Communicate closely with AFIT Computer Support (SC) to ensure issues associated between the Oracle system and Colleague are solved quickly and efficiently.
Work with the Director of Student Services to prepare all-call rosters, distinguished graduate reports and to provide all data related to the International Student Program.
Responsible for the Ad Astra room and class scheduling software and the On-Base document management software and uses those resources to problem-solve and act as a back-up when civilian personnel are not available.
Work with the various academic departments, the Offices of Academic Affairs and Institutional Research and various other personnel to provide data-mining services whenever they are requested and will develop written training materials as requested.
Use Colleague to assist in the maintenance of academic policy and procedures and maintains weekly project reports for the DAR.



Qualifications






Clearance: NACI
BA/BS degree and three (3) years relevant experience or
Associates degree and four (4) years relevant experience or
Six (6) years relevant experience
Extensive, hands-on work experience with the Datatel, (now Elucian), Colleague student information system, including enrollment management (recruitment/admissions/registrar/financial aid) functionality, file structure and coding mechanisms
Hands-on higher education experience in enrollment management (admissions/registrar/financial aid), student services, institutional research and academic affairs functions
Demonstrated proficiency in and Business Objects' Infoview
